ストックホルムの地下鉄

Stockholm subway

good morning.

I noticed something for the first time on this buying trip.

The elevators in Stockholm's subway are a complete maze!

Perhaps it was because the hotel we were staying at was on the edge of the central station, but there were so many floors that we didn't know which elevator to take to get to the exit we needed.

This was my first time traveling with a child, so I was forced to move around with a stroller, which meant an elevator was essential.

This was a fact I was completely unaware of because until now I had been able to get around easily using escalators and stairs.

It was a fun experience that made me realize that changing your travel style can lead to new discoveries.

By the way, I used a lot of elevators in Stockholm and Helsinki this time, and I encountered elevators that went up and down at an angle, and also, perhaps it's the national character, but in Stockholm, easy-going mothers were quick to guide people pushing many strollers, saying "Get in!", while in Helsinki, people didn't seem to like carpooling, and were skillful in giving way to others, saying "please go first," and also giving way to others without forcing them to get in, so in both cases the people were very kind to me.

I may not use a stroller next time, but I've decided that I definitely want to conquer the elevators in the Stockholm subway!

see you.

pieni onnea
