Great Being

This has nothing to do with Scandinavia, but Queen Elizabeth has passed away.
Although it was only for a short time, I studied English in London, and I also visited London frequently before and after that. It is a country I love and still admire.
The Queen had become a very important figure in my life without me realizing it, so I was surprised myself, but the news of her passing was much more painful, sad and shocking than I had expected.
The Queen's presence can be felt everywhere in London, and we see "E II R" engraved on currency, stamps, and even guardrails every day. I was reminded that because of her long reign, she has become a part of everyday life.
Queen Elizabeth was a humorous and playful person who felt very close to home.
It may seem a bit disorganized, but I decided to write it down because I want to remember that nothing is taken for granted and what I am feeling now.
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
I want to pay my respects. Rest in peace.
Well then.
