marimekko（マリメッコ）のファブリック「Siirtolapuutarha（シイルトラプータルハ）」
2009年にMaija Louekari（マイヤ・ロウエカリ）によってデザインされた、マリメッコを代表する柄のひとつです。
Siirtolapuutarhaとは、フィンランド語で「市民菜園」を意味する言葉。
街の中心から、花や野菜があふれる市民菜園へと向かう風景を描いたデザインで、植物を大胆なラインで描いた、Maija Louekariらしい世界が広がっています。Marimekko公式でも、都会から市民菜園へ向かう物語を描いたデザインとして紹介されています。
こちらは、ブラックをベースに、ターコイズやブルーグリーン、鮮やかなグリーンを組み合わせたカラー。
大きく描かれた植物のモチーフは、近くで見ると一本一本の線や小さな模様まで細かく描き込まれていて、少し離れて眺めると、大胆な色と形の組み合わせが印象に残ります。
今回ご紹介するものは、大きなリピート柄の一部分を切り取ったファブリックです。
生地そのものは大きくありませんが、その分、フレームに入れて飾ったり、小さなファブリックパネルやハンドメイドの素材として使ったりと、この一枚の中に収められた柄を楽しんでいただけます。
北欧のテキスタイルらしい大胆さと、手描きの線が持つ少し素朴な表情。
インテリアの中に一枚加えるだけでも、空間の印象を変えてくれるファブリックです。

《Condition》未使用の綺麗なコンディションですが、保管やに伴うわずかなシワや折り跡などが見られる場合があります。
